Founded in 2000 by Andrew Reynolds and Jay Strickland, Baker Skateboards makes decks, wheels, and clothing. Strickland left Baker in 2002 and went on to create Bootleg Skateboards, a skateboard company no longer in distribution. Reynolds and fellow skater Jim Greco started Baker Boys Distribution in 2007, currently the distributor of Baker Skateboards and other brands.
