Sean Sheffey
Sean Sheffey makes an impression on you, whether its by his powerful skating or equally as powerful aura. Growing up in Maryland, Sheffey was quickly recognized for his talent, earning a skate shop sponsorship after just eight months on a board and soon joining the East Coast-centric Shut Skates team. From there he moved on to legendary companies like Santa Monica Airlines, Life Skateboards, and eventually became a key team rider for Plan B Skateboards, appearing in seminal videos such as Questionable (1992). In these videos, Sheffey displayed his power as he was the first to ever fakie ollie a picnic table in 1991. Sheffey eventually moved to Girl Skateboards, where he appeared in Goldfish (1994) and Mouse (1996). His career had its ups and downs, including personal struggles and time away from skating, but he eventually rejoined Plan B in the 2010s and was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2025.
