Dennis Busenitz
Dennis Busenitz was born September 29, 1981. He considers Newton, Kansas his hometown, but he spent his early years growing up and skating in Germany, where his family had roots. Eventually he made his way back to Kansas and then to San Francisco to be closer to his sponsors. Dennis turned pro for Real Skateboards in 2002. In 2005 Dennis finished in first place at Tampa Pro and backed that up with another victory in 2011. His 'Busenitz' Adidas shoe is one of the most successful skate shoes of all time, a timeless silhouette that surely reflects his German heritage.
