Colin McKay
Colin McKay is a professional skateboarder who was one of the first to add street elements and switch skating to vert. McKay began skating in the mid 1980s and quickly made a name for himself with early sponsorships including Powell-Peralta. He first gained major recognition in the early 1990s as a member of the original Plan B Skateboards "superteam", alongside future vert legend Danny Way. After Plan B's initial run, McKay rode for other influential companies including Girl Skateboards and Seek Skateboards, and in 2005 he and Way relaunched Plan B, becoming co-owners of the brand and continuing to influence skate culture decades after his pro debut.
