Chris Russell
Chris Russell grew up near the Vans Skatepark in Orange County where he learned his bowl skills skating the famous Combi Pool. He was a regular in the Southern California youth amateur contests. Darren Navarette put Chris on Creature officially after seeing him skate locally for years, fulfilling a life long dream for Russell. Chris turned pro while on Thrasher's famed King of the Road. Chris almost lost an eye in a freak accident at a skate event involving some fireworks; luckily, he can still see, although not 100%. Chris has lived more under the age of 30 than most, earning respect from his peers. More recently, Chris is still stacking footage, training jui jitsu, rock climbing, and focusing on his mental and physical health.
