It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in our little town- the birds were chirping, the sun was out and a crowd was starting to gather at our new skatepark. A blacked out Suburban rolls up, driven by none other than Nyjah Huston. It only took a few minutes before kids noticed his presence, swiftly swarming him for autographs on their Asphalt tees and Element decks. Shortly after Nyjah's arrival, the classic white van casually cruised into the parking lot occupied by the rest of the AYC squad. Asphalt has a diverse team, from the legendary Stevie Williams to underground ripper Cole Wilson. Nyjah isn't the only star in the crew, as soon as the groms caught sight of Jaws another frenzied mobbing for autographs broke out.

After the initial swarming died down the team hit the park and the demo was underway. AYC rippers Cole Wilson, Stephen Lawyer and Derrick Wilson all put down some rad NBD's at the park while Nyjah casually rifled off first try bangers on everything, despite a bum ankle. Al Davis and Riley Hawk were on standby due to illness and injury, but were still there supporting their teammates through and through. Some had predicted Aaron "Jaws" Homoki would steal the show with some death-defying stunts- and on demo day they were proven right. Jaws pulled tricks that seemed like nothing more than a far-fetched fantasy; the insane transfer to 50-50 comes to mind. Then, he shut it down with an unreal transfer to the bottom of the 12ft bowl, a drop that would crumple a normal human's knees on impact. You'll have to watch the video for the proof...
