|Fallen was created by Jamie Thomas in 2003 and is distributed through Black Box Distribution, of which Thomas also owns. Thomas grew up skating with great skaters like Natas, Gonz, and Guerrero. Thomas was first sponsored by Delux Skateboards in 1992 which incited a move to San Francisco where he would eventually turn pro with Experience Skateboards. After Experience he moved to Invisible Skateboards and went on to have video parts in the Spitfire and Invisible videos as well as make the cover of Transworld Skateboard Magazine in 1994. Thomas went to Ed Templeton's Toy Machine Skateboards in 1995 where he filmed and directed two Toy Machine videos, including Welcome to Hell. In 1996 Thomas started a small clothing company with the help of Tum Yeto, the distributor of Toy. This company was Zero Skateboards and would make Fallen possible. Today Thomas owns Black Box Distribution, created in 2000, a parent company to Mystery Skateboards, Zero, and Fallen Footwear.
