7-ply hardwood maple using Helium board construction. Patented air frame built within that adds strength while decreasing weight. Less wood is used due to five hollowed out air frame chambers. The shape of the chambers is engineered to actually increase strength by distributing the normal streess from skateboarding throughout the board.
