Founded in 1989 by Mark Gonzales, Blind Skateboards was a direct attack against his longtime sponsor Vision Skateboards. Blind's original team held the names of Brian Lotti, Guy Mariano, Jason Lee, Gonzales, Henry Sanchez, and Danny Way. Considered by some to be the Citizen Kane of skate videos, Blind released Video Days in 1991. It was the Gonz who was behind most of Blind's early creative direction, drawing the Blind Skateboards logo as it's seen today. Eventually the Gonz left Blind Skateboards, but it continues to run through Dwindle Distribution. Dwindle is the largest skateboard distributor in the world and is owned by Globe International Limited, in El Segundo, California, the president of which is Bod Boyle, World Skateboard Champion of 1990.
